Frequently asked questions

FAQs

Here is a list of our frequently asked questions, if you have a query which isn't answered here please feel free to contact us, we are happy to help.

1.   Do you make products yourselves?

Yes!  We do, we have many years experience of making and retailing soaps and bath bombs.

2.   Is there a minimum Order?

There is NOT a minimum order, you can take advantage of our wholesale costs without any minimum order.

3.   Do you offer carriage paid?

Yes we do, on all UK orders over the sum of just £200 plus vat we will pay all of your postage charges so if your order is approaching the £200 limit you may want to consider adding in an extra item and saving on postage costs.  For orders below the £200 limit we charge a courier fee which is very competitive.  At present we do not offer a carriage paid service to Northern or Southern Ireland or the E.U.

4.   How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Our usual order turn around is just 1 working day packaging your order.  You can then choose whether you want to have standard or excpress delivery.  If you desperately need your order quickly such as if you have a special event coming up please contact us and we will always try and accommodate your needs.  We will keep you updated on the progress of your order.  We use Courier Companies to deliver our orders to the UK and E.U.  If you need your goods in a hurry we would urge you to opt to use the express delivery service.

5.   How do I store my soap and bath bomb ingredients?

It is our advice to keep your ingredients in their wrapping or in air tight containers.  We would also advise that you store them in a cool, dry place.

6.   I am new to making products can you offer any tips?

Welcome to the world of soaps and bath bombs - making them is completely addictive so be warned!  We offer beginners courses for those who want to learn more about making their own bath and shower products, however if you are not local to us or if you want to have a try at making your own we also have some basic video tutorials that you can find here.  We also have kits which you can purchase which contain the products and ingredients that you will need to make for example six bath bombs, we have collated everything you need and put it into one kit along with easy to follow instructions.  These kits are a great place to start and once  you have used the ingredients you can simply re order the ingredients that you need.  You can find our kits in our shop here.  You can always contact us if you are struggling with a particular issue and we will try to help.

7.   I am confused what is SLS and what does it mean that your soap bases are SLS Free?

In a nutshell SLS is considered to be slightly harsh upon the skin, in different quanities/strength to that in cosmetic cleaners SLS is used to clean heavily soiled items such as engines, in our soaps we use an SLS free base as it is believed to be gentler, we choose to use SLES as a replacement which is considered to be milder on the skin.  SLS is known in it's full title as Sodium Laureth Sulphate, SLES you will see on our product labels and is called Sodium Lauryl Sulphate this is considered to be milder.

8.   Are any of your products tested on animals?

No is the quick answer to that question, the E.U. banned any cosmetic product being tested on animals back in 2009.  When we launch a new product, fragrance or any type of ingredients for our soap or bathbombs we happily test it on our willing workers, friends and family!

9.   Is your soap base suitable for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes our soap bases are both suitable for vegetarians and vegans, we will shortly be launching a goats milk range of soaps which will contain dairy ingredients.  Our SLS free translucent and opaque are both suitable for vegans/vegetarians.
